Meryl E. Kahan, MD, FACOG, is a leading provider of high quality obstetric and gynecological care at OBGYN Westside, PLLC, on the Upper West Side of New York City. Recognized for her expertise in minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Kahan has experience caring for women of all ages, from adolescence through menopause. 

Dr. Kahan attended Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, where she graduated with cum laude honors. After completing her undergraduate studies, she then went on to the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, where she earned her Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Kahan completed her residency training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, where she was recognized for her skilled approach to minimally invasive surgery. 

Dr. Kahan approaches each patient visit with care and compassion. She is committed to providing individualized care, customized to the specific needs of each patient. Prior to joining OBGYN Westside in 2018, Dr. Kahan cared for patients at a number of private practices and hospitals throughout the tri-state area. 

When she isn’t in the office, Dr. Kahan spends much of her time traveling, exploring New York City, and staying active.
